SPECIFICS

• Don’t turn the a/c below 74 degrees or it will freeze up.
• Please leave the refrigerator & freezer settings on normal (usually 5) or they will freeze up.
• If the unit has a High Efficiency washer, please only use HE laundry soap.
• Basic kitchen supplies, bedding and bath towels are provided. More personal items such as soaps, shampoo, kitchen spices/condiments are not provided. A starter supply of paper products is supplied but guests are responsible for additional items needed during their stay.
• Every effort is made to keep each property clean and well maintained.  Please notify us upon arrival if the unit is unsatisfactory. We would appreciate the opportunity to immediately rectify the situation.
• Be sure to use the correct remote control for the cable box.  If you find you are unable to get cable, please call 305-292-8376 while you are in front of the box.  Give them the last 4 digits on the box and they will reset the system for you. 
• Neither Upper Keys Rentals or the Property Owner guarantee air conditioners, heaters, televisions, cable TV, internet, plumbing fixtures or appliances.  Sometimes things malfunction right before or during a guests’ stay.  There will be no discount or refund if there is a disruption in service.  Please notify Upper Keys Rentals if something should go wrong - every reasonable effort will be made to correct or repair the malfunction. 
• Just like at your own home, internet and cable can go down. Sometimes routers and cable boxes need to be reset. Sometimes service goes out. There will be no refund or discount given if you are not able to get on the internet or if cable signal is lost.
• If we must send an appliance or a/c repairman to the unit and they determine the problem has been caused by your not following these directions, the service call will be your responsibility.
• It is possible that a condo association may temporarily close or provide maintenance to tennis courts, swimming pools, marinas, elevators, beach areas, clubhouses, common areas or do maintenance work on the building during your stay.  We cannot control these situations but will give you as much notice as possible when we are made aware they are happening. 
• Please note that due to the corrosion from salt air and wear and tear from use, we cannot guarantee the condition of BBQ grills if one is located on the property.  Clean up of any BBQ grills as well as cooking materials such as charcoal, propane, lighter fluid, etc., is the responsibility of the rental group if a BBQ grill is located on the property.  BBQ grills are not allowed on condo balconies. 

BEFORE YOU LEAVE

• Check-out time is 10 am and the cleaning crew will arrive shortly after your departure.   
• KEYS AND GATE CARDS ARE TO BE DROPPED OFF AT OUR OFFICE.  If the office is closed, please drop in either of the boxes (white or black) next to the front door of our office.  Failure to return gate cards keys to our Key Largo office will result in an extra charge of 1 day rental.
• Do not leave dishes in the sink or on the counter.  Please load and start dishwasher
• Close all windows & turn air conditioner to 78 degrees.
• Take out the garbage.  The dumpsters are located north of the boat ramp next to the boat trailer storage area. 
• Please wash all towels until last days use.  Guests who leave excessive laundry may be charged extra.
• Remove dirty linen from roll-aways, sofa beds and any beds that were used. Please do not bundle
  blankets and quilts with used linens.
• Place all dirty laundry on the floor in one of the bathrooms or bedrooms
• Please do not leave wet towels in the dryer
• There is a $50 charge for lockouts, lost keys and lost gate passes.  
  
  If you paid by credit card, we will put the damage deposit back onto the card that you gave when you reserved.  IF YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION CHANGES, PLEASE NOTIFY US.  You will receive an email after we process the credit.  If you paid by check, we will issue a check.
